Tombs, Folquet, Post, and Ball Receive 2014 LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals National Awards

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., September 17, 2014 – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) membership has selected the following members for national recognition as a result of their achievements:  Tina Tombs, Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, Phoenix, Ariz., Teacher of the Year;  Malia Folquet, Palm Valley Country Club, Palm Desert, Calif., Professional of the Year; Patty Post, University of Delaware, Newark, Del., Coach of the Year; and Louise Ball, Tennessee Golf Academy, Knoxville, Tenn., Junior Golf Leadership award.

The national award winners were selected by the LPGA T&CP membership’s Executive Committee from the pool of sectional award winners voted on by the members of the five regional sections: Central, Midwest, Northeast, Southeast and Western.

Aulenti receives 2014 Nancy Lopez Golf Achievement Award

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., September 16, 2014 —  Angela Aulenti, a 30+ year veteran of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professionals (T&CP) as well as a PGA member, is the recipient of the 2014 Nancy Lopez Golf Achievement Award, which recognizes an LPGA professional who gives back to the game in the spirit of Nancy Lopez. Aulenti is the Head Golf Pro at Sterling Farms Golf Club, Stamford, Conn., and the Director of Golf at E. Gaynor Brennan Golf Course, Stamford, Conn.
