Letter from the Central Section Treasurer – Tina Tombs

tina tombsSummer is coming to an end and some of us will soon experience an abundance of cold winter weather.  Others will finally cool down, to where it’s tolerable and our seasons will get into full swing!  All and all, I hope you had a beautiful summer enjoying long days with family and friends.  Hopefully you enjoyed your time on the course, cultivating new relationships and opportunities as you build your brand.

Our LPGA Members continue to grow the game in our Junior Golf Programs, Women’s golf as well as Men’s Programs.  We need to let our light shine everywhere!   If you have ideas on how we can continue to penetrate the golf community, we would love to hear from you.  Please email me at any time!!

We’d like to take a moment to congratulate all of our members who played in the T&CP Championship in Orlando, Florida at The Reunion Resort in August.  We had a spectacular turn out from the Central Section.  It was great to see everyone having fun and playing some great golf!  Thank you for your attendance and support of this amazing event!

We’d also like to congratulate Central Section Members Lisa Grimes, Amy Fruhwirth, Lori Atsedes, Anne Marie Palli & Karen Davies.  They participated in the LPGA Legends Tour Championship in French Lick, Indiana in August.  You all played wonderfully and represented the Central Section and National T&CP Organization with pride.  We are very proud of you!!
