Fowler currently serves as the Central Section Secretary, a post she has held for nearly two years.  She has served her section in many capacities over the years, including hosting the LPGA Central Section Championship, and as a long-time member advisor to new members coming into the organization.  Kristie plays in Section and National events, and takes teams to Pro-Am events both on a Section and National level.

As a member of the officer team for the Central Section, Kristie has done a tremendous job of outreach to members throughout the Section in her capacity as Secretary, and has brought many member stories to the greater membership through the Section and National Newsletters.

“I can’t think of a better name to add to the list of those who have received the award in Marilynn’s name,” said Section President Marvol Barnard.  “Kristie has truly gone ‘above and beyond’ for many, many years, and the Marilynn Smith Award is a wonderful way to honor this hard-working, caring Section member.”

Congratulations, Kristie Fowler!
