Women in Golf Wednesday! – Anne Cain

Name: Anne Cain

Where you live?

Amelia Island, FL

Where you work & what you do?:

The PGA TOUR Academy at World Golf Village, St. Augustine, FL

How long have you been an LPGA member?

Since 1995

How was the process of becoming a member for you?

It was fun and educational; I think it is even much better now

What does it mean to be an LPGA member to you?

I feel I am part of bigger organization and have the support of the LPGA.  When I joined, there were so few women in the golf industry it was easy to feel isolated.  I really like how the LPGA education system has prioritized teaching and coaching.

What is the best part about the membership for you?

The friendships, professional relationships, and education

What advice would you give someone just starting the program or thinking about starting?

Most LPGA members are willing to mentor and support each other. Reach out to as many people as you can and seek guidance and advice.

Words of Wisdom:

I encourage everyone to be involved and serve the organization either on a sectional or national level.   I hope the LPGA organization will continue to offer opportunities for people with areas of expertise to contribute to the education curriculum moving into the future.
