A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats, But We Can’t Row It Alone – Carol Preisinger

Carol PreisingerAs we all navigate through the tidal waters of our golf industry, sometimes we encounter smooth sailing and other times rough waters. Some say, “that’s life”, and some say, “that’s golf”. No two days are ever the same, and our ability to adjust to this random environment of life and work is critical. All you can do is the absolute best that you can do. Especially in this digital age, which is supposed to make us more efficient, right? I don’t normally get personal in this platform, but since my 3 terms as SE Section President is almost completed, I want to share this with every Apprentice and New Member of our Section, and the T&CP.

Now, more than ever, we need to stay connected to each other, How do YOU stay connected with your Section and T&CP membership?
Visiting the T&CP Extranet?
Reading the Monday Morning Memo’s through email?
Opining on the LPGA Social Media pages…
Or, dare I say it…
Attending a T&CP National Event or a Section Meet and Greet?

Letter from the Southeast Section President — Carol Preisinger

Summer is approaching…time to think about Nominations for Section Elections and Of The year awards. The offices of President/Vice-President and Secretary are open, and there are so many talented members who are deserving of a nomination.

Our section is hosting 3 Coaching seminars with Shawn Humphries, a variety of Meet and Greets in Florida, Charlotte and Atlanta, the Mixed Team in Hilton Head (approaching fast April 17/18), and the Section Team Tournament in the Fall. Check this newsletter’s section calendar for dates and details!

This is the year that you can be INVOLVED…Imagine ways that you can contribute to your association, no matter how small.

“Remember that your imagination is yours and yours alone. You have the inborn capacity to use it in any way that you choose. No one else is responsible for your imagination. Anything placed in your imagination and held there ultimately becomes your reality”. Wayne Dyer

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world”. Albert Einstein

Letter from the Southeast President – Carol Preisinger

Carol PreisingerHappy Summer time! As T&CP members, we have so much to be proud of, and so many events to participate in. An enormous “Thank You” to Dana Rader, Deb Vangellow and Nancy Henderson for the beautiful T&CP personalized bag tags sent to our membership. We appreciate your leadership, love the new logo, and feel appreciated as members. What makes me proud to be T&CP? Several things, one is now being recognized as a valued part of the entire Brand, along with the Tours and Foundation. We are not the best-kept secret anymore. But, most valuable to me are mentors and friendships within the T&CP, and the fact that our Teaching Education has always been leading the industry.

Letter from the Southeast Section President – Carol Preisinger

Carol PreisingerIn today’s digital age, it should be easy to stay connected – or is it? We email, text, facebook, tweet and instagram, but are we really linked in to our T&CP? Many outstanding Webinars are offered that allow learning in the comfort of your home or office.  But, let’s not forget that we are an “Association”of members who must connect, unite and mix together for a common purpose.
