Where you live:

Where you work & what you do:

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona, FL/ Women’s Golf Coach

How long have you been an LPGA member?

Since 1998

How was the process of becoming a member for you?

I was working at LPGA International as the Director of Tournaments and Marketing.  My boss Pam Phipps was supportive in setting me on my way of education and certification. Then when I transitioned to collegiate coaching, my university provided for professional development.

What does it mean to be an LPGA member to you?

EVERYTHING! At age 8 I knew I wanted to play professionally. As I grew in the game some amazing mentors and women of excellence from the LPGA were put in my path; Nancy Lopez, Jane Frost, Linda Voldstedt, Beans Kelly, Suellen Northrup and Dr. Debbie Crews. They were instrumental and inspirational to my paths of touring professional, coach, instructor and doctoral student.

What is the best part about the membership for you?

Cutting edge education, and a network that is willing to mentor and share information.

What advice would you give someone just starting the program or thinking about starting?

DO IT!!!! Every chance you get to learn, grow and shape your vision as a instructor and business person, go for it. No matter how long it takes you, STAY THE COURSE!

What do you love most about the game of golf?:

Every day it is different, and it is the shaping of your character, mental toughness and creativity. It is the mirror of life.

Words of Wisdom:

There are no coincidences. You are exactly where you are supposed to be and the next great opportunity is coming, but don’t miss the gift of the present while you’re looking for it. Someone is there for you to make a difference for, a lesson to be learned and possibility to be had. Always believe, and strive to “be the change you want to see in the world (Gandhi).”
