Where you work & what you do?
Director of Instruction for Michelle Holmes School of Golf.
How long have you been an LPGA member?
How was the process of becoming a member for you?
The learning process of becoming an LPGA Member for me has been invaluable. I love that the program’s main focus is teaching-based. Teaching is my passion, and I learned so much not only from the program but from my LPGA peers.
What does it mean to be an LPGA member to you?
The LPGA T&CP badge is one I wear proudly. I am honored to be part of such a strong community of people who are all dedicated to growing the game.
What is the best part about the membership for you?
The friendships I have made along the way is by far the best part for me. I have made some lifelong friends in other LPGA Members who I can learn from, share ideas with, and rely on.
What advice would you give someone just starting the program or thinking about starting?
First off, I can’t recommend the program enough. In this business, you need to find your niche and run with it. Focus on what you are great at and use what you learn in the program to further enhance your strengths.
The greatest advice I can give is to take advantage of the connections you make through the LPGA program. You will meet so many people who look at the game in so many different ways. Be open to their opinions and don’t be afraid to ask for help and advice.
