Lisa Grimes Wins LPGA T&CP National Championship
Susan Fasoldt wins Challenge Division, Lori Atsedes claims Senior Division title
Lisa Grimes (Alexandria, Minn.), needed only a 1-under par 71 to claim her first LPGA T&CP National Championship at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, Fla. Grimes finished five shots clear PGA Professional Karen Paolozzi (Atlanta, Ga.). Her three-day total of 8-under par 208 gave the former LPGA Tour member the win after several close calls in previous event and the $11,000 winner’s check.
Four-time winner, Jean Bartholomew (Palm Beach gardens, Fl.) and Kristin Walla (Newport Beach, Ca.) finished tied for third with a three- day total of 1-under par 215.

FASOLDT TAKES HER CONSECUTIVE TITLE IN CHALLENGE DIVISION
Susan Fasoldt ((Sarasota, Fl.) came into this week at Reunion Resort trying not to think about her title defense in the Challenge Division but rounds of 72-67-71 on the Palmer Course got the job done however it took a two-hole playoff to do it.
Fasoldt birdied the second hole of the playoff to edge first-round leader Charlaine Hirst (Pinehurst, NC.). Hirst tied Fasoldt with a 3-under par 69 for a three-day total of 6-under par 210.
“No it really wasn’t on my mind,” said Fasoldt. “I wasn’t trying to win; I thought that would be too much pressure.” She took home $6,000 for her victory.

ATSEDES TAKE TITLE IN SENIOR DIVISION IN A PLAYOFF
In the Senior Division, Lori Atsedes (Goodyear, Az.) shot a 4-under par 68 to tie third round leader Barbara Scherbak (West Palm Beach, FL). Atsedes won the playoff with a par on the first playoff hole. This was Atsedes first win in the Senior Division which earned her $7,000.
Both Scherbak and Meyers finished with a final round 1-over par 73 which open the door for Atsedes.
